Life of Agony is an American alternative metal band from Brooklyn, New York City, formed in 1989 by singer Mina Caputo (then known as Keith Caputo), bassist Alan Robert and guitarist Joey Z. The band has released six studio albums to date, most notably their 1993 debut River Runs Red, named by Rolling Stone as one of the Greatest Metal Albums of All Time.[
Released in standard jewel case with hype sticker on the front: `Featuring previously unreleased and rare tracks`.

This CD is a collection of rare demos (recorded prior to `River Runs Red`) and hard-to-find B-sides & bonus tracks, all spanning Life Of Agony`s entire 10 year career.

Tracks 1 & 2 are from L.O.A.`s 4th demo `The Stain Remains`. Recorded at Sty In The Sky, Brooklyn, NY - May 1991. Remixed by Michael Marciano and Alan Robert at Systems Two, Brooklyn, NY - September 1999.

Track 3 is from August `92 pre-production/writing sessions - never officially released on demo, but it did appear on the 1993 compilation `East Coast Assault` (Too Damn Hype Records). Recorded at Sty In The Sky, Brooklyn, NY - August 1992.

Track 4 is from August `92 pre-production/writing sessions - never officially released on demo. Recorded at Sty In The Sky, Brooklyn, NY - August 1992. Mixed by Michael Marciano and Alan Robert at Systems Two, Brooklyn, NY - September 1999.

Track 9 was recorded for an S.O.D. tribute album that never came out. Recorded and mixed by Paul Crook with Life Of Agony at Krusty`s Funhouse, Yonkers, NY - July 1997. Lead vocals by Joey Z.

Tracks 10 & 11 originally appeared as bonus tracks on the `Ugly` limited edition tin box CD.

Track 12 originally appeared as a B-side on the `Weeds` slimline CD single. Recorded at The Amazing Barn, Conshohocken, PA - June 1997.
